Comes in two types. Premium Frame (Also known as knotty) or Superior Alder. Typically an inexpensive wood, brownish hue. useful for when you want to give your home a rustic feel.

Possessing a straight grain pattern, and a generally lighter color. Birch is remarkably durable and has an above average resistance to decay. 

With it's dark red color, and smooth patterns. It is no wonder why Cherry has long been prized for use in high end trim work. 

If you need something that can take a hit, and still maintain its shape. Hickory is your choice. Having both dark and light qualities, it has a unique and beautiful look.

Wide grain and easy to sand, Red oak is a staple in the woodworking world. Handles stain incredibly well, but also looks good in it's natural state.

Shares many aspects with it's cousin Red oak. However its light grey color, and ability to resist moisture make sure to set it apart.

Very strong wood, with a beautiful pink surface. asymmetrical patterns really make it stand out.

Same beautiful surface, but with a more striking pattern.

Might not be the prettiest wood in the game, but its low weight, great stability, and low cost make it a flexible and reliable material.

Stunning dark patterns and a rich color, combine with a incredible strength and durability to make a wood used for everything from fine furniture to musical instruments.

Its just easy to use, affordable, and gets the job done. Simple, but that's how I imagine Pine likes it.

The most distinctive feature is the smell, but once you dig past that. You will find a material that is light, extremally resistant to rot, and fits perfectly in any cozy home.

The most flexible of the softwoods, it's durability and longevity make it a favorite in the construction business. It will get you through windstorms to floods, harsh winters and torrential rain.
